Ian McGregor Smith will be travelling to Japan from March 14 to March 21 2010. While in Japan, Ian will be involved in many planning activities with Shikandaza. They will perform and interview together on a Kyoto Radio station on Thursday March 18 and at the Live House "Modern Times" later that evening. 

Ian will also meet with several school officials in Japan to set up some international student performance exchanges between Japan students and students from his own school board in Canada. He will also meet with some Christian organizations to set up some future musical mission opportunities for the music ministry from Banwell Community Church in Japan. Ian will also use this time to compose new music for a new Shikandaza CD.
