Trip to Japan

Ian McGregor Smith is going on a whirlwind tour of Japan from March 14 to 21, 2010. He will be making appearances with Shikandaza, working on international student exchanges and arrangements for church choir trips.

Student Jazz Ensemble and Glee Club

As a music educator at the arts school in Windsor Ont. Ian McGregor Smith has been busy passing along the musical torch to his students. He has started a student Jazz Ensemble and Glee Club. These two groups will be performing in the Windsor area at The Gourmet Emporium on Wyandotte St. E. on Sunday April 25@ 5PM , at Walkerville Collegiate institute on Thursday May 20@ 7PM, at "Art In The Park" Saturday June 5@ 1:30 PM, at Big Tony's Jazz Festival Saturday June 19.

In Concert

On Sunday June 06, @3:00 Ian will be performing in concert with flutist Taka Konishi in Novi Michigan.June 6, 2010 at 3:00 pm at the Faith Community Presbyterian Church, 44400 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi

The Ian Smith trio will perform at Big tonys jazz Festival in Windsor Ont. on Friday June 18 at 7pm.

Chimoca

Chimoca will be performing in concert at Big Tony's Jazz Festival in Windsor Ont. on Saturday June 19 at 7pm. This concert will feature Lorenzo Spoons brown.
